Coastal Cleanup Day, Sept 25th
Join the Roundhouse Aquarium as we participate in the 26th annual Coastal Cleanup Day. This international event brings thousands of volunteers to help clean our beaches and raise awareness about protecting our oceans. Last year over 14,000 volunteers participated and picked up over 300,000 pounds of trash and recyclables! If you would like to join us, just meet at the base of the Manhattan Beach Pier at 9am. Be sure to bring sunscreen, water, a hat and clothes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty. The event ends at 12 noon. This is a great way for students to earn a few extra community service hours and for you to show you care about our oceans and our environment. We hope to see you there!
2010 Field Trips to the Roundhouse!!

Our knowledgeable teachers can accommodate the class or party according to your needs. No matter what the class, we always have fun and we always learn new things. Come see the new Outreach Van – Sept 17, 5-7pm
The Roundhouse’s Educational Outreach Van will be on display from 5-7pm on Friday, September 17th in the south pier parking lot. We’ll have some animals to touch and information about our programs. The purchase and outfitting of the van, as well as outreach classes to low-income schools were made possible by a generous grant from the Manhattan Beach Property Owner’s Association.
